The Denison Young Professionals are a group of high-energy young professionals who are interested in seeking ways to capitalize and improve on Denison’s biggest assets while establishing a message that Denison is a choice destination for young professionals.

Our diverse group consists of both homegrown talent and relocated professionals who have chosen Denison as a place to live, work, shop, and play.

The group has a vested interest in the community and chooses to help play a role in what the future for the community looks like.

 Denison Lion's Club 63rd Annual Carnival
Forest Park - Downtown Denison
June 9 - 11, 4pm to 11pm - June 12 - 14, 4pm to 11pm
$18 wrist bands will be available at the ticket box for unlimited rides, for one day. or $12 wrist bands for unlimited rides for one day, must be purchased in advance, and are now available at the following locations: Angela’s Cafe, 1530 S Austin, Hickory House BBQ, 603 W Woodard, Five Star Storage, 3621 Pottsboro Rd., Gray's Jewelers, 505 W.  2nd Annual "I Like Ike" 5K Race & Kids 1K Fun Run
Forest Park, 300 W. Crawford St, Denison
The race will begin on Crawford Street in Historic Downtown Denison and feature a route around the 34th President of the U.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower’s birthplace and finish at the scenic Forest Park.  The kids Fun Run will also take place at Forest Park.
 
Pre-register by Monday, June 1, 2009 and receive a free T-Shirt Entry fee - 5K - $20, 1K - $5, Groups of 10 or more receive a $5 discount per person.  For additional information call the Denison Chamber of Commerce at 903-465-1551. 

All proceeds help support the Denison Parks and Recreation’s summer swim and track teams and benefit the Chamber of Commerce programs.
