Denison Leadership Academy:

The objective of the Denison Leadership Academy is to stimulate our next generation of leaders and encourage them to return to Denison after completing their education.  The Leadership Academy is focused on creating opportunities for high school juniors to visit local businesses and government offices.  The purpose of these visits is to provide a close-up look at different organizations in the area  and to kindle students’ interest in potential career paths and community involvement.  These visits will be done in joint cooperation with the school system and will include a group of students who have applied for and been awarded admission into the Denison Leadership Academy.  In the future, the Academy intends to add other programs to expand on its initial focus of careers and provide further development opportunities for our young people. 

The Leadership Committee meets at 12:00 pm on the second Thursday of the month.
